Just wanted to let you know that I’ll be switching hosts for this site when my domain name runs out. In the meantime, you can find the new site at www.joshuafletchermusic.tumblr.com .
This should allow for easier updates, and a little bit cooler looking site. It is all about style points in this business, after all.
See y’all out there.
Dudes and Lady Dudes alike,
This Friday night, at the Masquerade, I will be performing with my buds in Churchill and Interstellar. The show starts at 7pm, and I’m first.
I love you all and hope to see you there.
Just added a show on December 17th with Gasoline Heart. Get you some.
Hey y’all. I just updated the shows page, so check that out. Should have more info on the new record shortly. Stay tuned.
So I’ve been out in Los Angeles working on the new record with Alex Dezen for about a week now, and the songs we’ve done sound amazing. It’s a bit of a departure from the last record, but I think y’all will dig it. Follow me on twitter and/or instagram to receive more regular updates on the making of this thing.
Also, for you east coast folks, I’m doing a small run to New York and back at the end of August. I hope those of you in Raleigh, DC, Philadelphia, and New York can find your way out to the show!
That’s about it for now. All my love.
First of all, thanks to all of you who came to the Virginia Highlands Summerfest and hung out with us this past Sunday. It was a killer time, and all the bands were phenomenal. Extra special thanks to those of you who didn’t know who we were and watched us anyway (you get extra points for coming to the website).
Got a few shows coming up at the end of this month and a few in July before I ship off to Milwaukee to hang with the fam for a little while.
More exciting than that, though, is that when I return from Milwaukee, I’m heading west to Los Angeles to start work on my as of yet untitled third record! I’ll be working with Alex Dezen, who you may know from his killer project The Damnwells. I cannot even describe to you how excited I am about the prospect of this record. I can’t wait to start working and I definitely can’t wait to share it with you. I’ll keep you posted on the goings on for sure, be it here or on Facebook and Twitter. Keep an eye out!
First off, we’re in the running for a slot at Bonnaroo, but we need YOU to help. “How?” you ask? Easy! Just go to THIS LINK and vote vote vote.
In other news, we just pulled the trigger on a few new shows for springtime. All of them are going to be great, and we’re especially excited to share the stage with the immensely talented Jill Andrews on April 25th at Bloodhound in Auburn, AL.
We’re also excited to be joining How I Became the Bomb at the EARL in Atlanta on April 28th
In between those two shows, most of us will be stopping in to Blackbird in Milledgeville, GA (on April 27th) to get down on some slow jams. If you’re in the area, we’d love to see you. Blackbird shows are always some of the coolest shows we do.
As far as news goes, that’s it for now. We’ve got some cool things coming down the pike though, so as soon as I can tell you about them, I will.
I love you all more than I probably should.
